The Journey Begins

You can’t go back and start a new beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending….

Welcome to my blog.

Here is where I will share my story, my life and my experiences.

My intent is that I will continue to heal and grow as I share and I will inspire and help someone else find their strength to begin their own journey of healing and acknowledge their own stories and start new and better ones.

I will share with you…

  • my life with addiction.
  • Along with my passions of parenting adult children, a teenager, the struggles and triumphs of a 21-year marriage.
  • My new journey of becoming a bikini competitor at age 47, starting a new career, nutrition, wellness, self care, dealing with my aging mother, her dementia and any other interesting life events that come up.

Most of all my intent is that we rise up here together and become the beautiful warrior that is hiding inside all of us, just waiting to be pulled out…

Thanks for joining me!

I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it.

So many women mirror each other in what they are going through and dealing with in there lives, but yet most remain silent. Only if we talk, to each other can we triumph together. With love and support from each other. Soft love tough love… either way. Love changes everything.
We should be silent no longer.
Thank you Debbie, and thank your journey back and forward.

    1. We do spend too much time thinking we are the only ones who could possibly be having this battle (whatever that may be), if only we realized that the person behind us in line or even living next door is going through similar things….
      Thank you for reading…

Oh my goodness, if people knew of all my fears, demons and failures! Not as brave as you yet Debbie but I have started opening up some with people but still very afraid to talk about it. Glad to be here for your journey and writings. Love and gratitude!

      2. I think the more we share, the more we heal and encourage others to do the same…

  3. ❤ you Debbie 🙂

  5. I love that I know you and can call you friend.
Narrative traditions are the most supportive and healing.
